How Might You Offer Gloria's Coaching?
We understand that discussing women’s health at work and introducing our services can feel challenging. Many women’s health topics remain taboo, even though they are widespread.
For example, 79% of women would not feel comfortable discussing their menopausal symptoms with HR (Menopause Foundation of Canada).
Here are several ways you can introduce Gloria’s coaching within your organization:
Personal Approach
If you know a female colleague who has opened up about health challenges—or if you’ve observed signs and feel your relationship allows for a caring, supportive conversation—you can directly offer Gloria’s coaching as an option.
Examples of situations that might prompt such a conversation include:
- A colleague returning from a leave of absence.
- A colleague openly discussing upcoming medical appointments.
Referral Form
Provide an opportunity for female employees to nominate themselves for Gloria’s coaching. This can be done through HR or an online form that asks non-invasive questions, ensuring health privacy is respected while allowing potential participants to come forward. Once you’ve identified those you’d like to offer coaching to, our team would then connect with these individuals directly.
Broad Outreach
Advertise the opportunity to a wider audience via email (BCC for privacy), directing recipients to our website. There, they can explore our coaching options confidentially and at their own pace. This approach respects privacy while empowering individuals to take the next step with us directly.
Follow-Up to a Workshop
Gloria offers workshops for women on aligning professional development with personal health, as well as training for managers on championing women’s health at work. These workshops can naturally lead to conversations about individual coaching opportunities.
Wellness or DEI Initiatives
Position Gloria’s coaching as part of your broader wellness or Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs. This can destigmatize the service and align it with organizational priorities, making it more accessible for female employees.
HR, EAP, or Professional Development Programs
Integrate Gloria’s coaching into existing HR, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), or professional development initiatives. This approach allows employees to access coaching as part of the support systems already in place, reducing barriers to participation.
