Laure Goubau

About

As the founder of Gloria, Laure aims to change the narrative about women’s ambition and their power to lead in a healthier way. She believes that we can thrive both personally and professionally through self-awareness, strategic advocacy, a good dose of humor and a few boundaries.

For over a decade, Laure was a trusted advisor to partners, senior partners, and function leaders in the professional services industry. Navigating complex dynamics, she led strategic people initiatives related to talent pipeline, retention, performance management, and recruitment. Additionally, Laure has chaired local and national projects focused on women’s advancement, mental health, and EDI. A former litigation lawyer at a top-tier firm, she is now recognized for empowering both seasoned and emerging leaders to achieve their professional goals.

Based in Montréal with her husband and daughter, Laure is an avid hiker, skier, and reader. She has been a board member of collectif9, a Juno-nominated string nonet for 5 years, and she volunteers at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal.
